Illustrative imageThe engine room of bookkeeping support. The written scope sets which transactions, ledgers and accounts we handle, and when reconciliations and month-end files reach your reviewer.
For firms, this work can occupy preparation time in January. For businesses, it can compete with other finance tasks. Agree the source records, reconciliations and open-point reports in the scope.

Firms send it to the client under their own name. Businesses take it into the board meeting or the bank. We stay behind the scenes in both cases.

Employee queries come to you first, not around you: we prepare the answer, you decide who hears it.

VAT workings and tax computation schedules are prepared as inputs for your review. We do not advise, plan or sign. Sign-off, and the client relationship around it, stays with you.
Advisory, defined
Advice on how the work runs. Never on what the client should do about tax.
The "advisory" in our name means process and systems: mapping how your finance work flows, documenting it so nothing depends on memory, and recommending accounting software that fits the size you've become. It's the advice a good delivery team gives because it makes the delivery better.
It does not mean tax planning, regulated advice or anything that needs a signature. Those conversations belong with your firm, or with the firm your business already uses. We'll happily prepare the numbers for them.
Questions firms ask
The questions accounting firms and finance leads ask before they send a first batch. Straight answers, no sales gloss.
We deliver the preparation work: bookkeeping and reconciliations, management accounts packs, payroll processing support and year-end accounts production with tax workings prepared for your review. We do not sign accounts, file as agent, give tax advice or speak to your clients. Every deliverable goes to a named reviewer on your side before it goes anywhere else.
The software, user access and handling of working papers are agreed during scoping. We prepare in the workflow you approve, and your reviewer keeps final control.
The engagement scope names the preparer, review steps, handover format and query process. Your reviewer checks the work, raises points and signs. Nothing is filed, sent or finalised by Cadence.
Batch dates and review-point turnaround depend on volume, record quality and the agreed review process. We set them in the written scope before work starts, including any busy-season capacity.
The proposal sets out the trial scope, fee, term and notice period. We agree those terms with you before work starts.
Before a trial, agree in writing where work is done, who has access, which devices are used, how files are handled, and how access ends. Ask Cadence for its current controls and any insurance or certification documents; none are claimed on this page.
India is four and a half to five and a half hours ahead of the UK depending on the season. Working-hours overlap, response times and meeting windows are agreed for each engagement.
We prepare the workings: reconciled VAT, BAS or GST figures with the supporting schedules, ready for your review and submission. Filing, agent authority and any advice on treatment stay with you or the client's regulated adviser.
Both. Firms use us as white-label capacity behind their own brand. Businesses use us as an outsourced bookkeeping and reporting function, usually alongside their existing accountant who continues to sign off the year-end and handle tax.
Cadence is based in India. Before work begins, agree who will prepare and lead your work, where it will be performed, and who will review it. Record the team, access and review responsibilities in the written scope.
