Who we are
Cadence Accounting & Advisory is the trading name of Cadence Accounting and Advisory Services LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India (LLPIN ABA-4174), based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. We decide how the details you send us are used, and we are responsible for them.
What we collect
If you request a proposal, we collect your name and email, the market you are viewing, and the company, phone number, type of organisation, team size and message you choose to give us.
If you ask a question, we collect your name, email, the market you are viewing and your question.
Each submission is saved with a reference number and the time we received it. The forms do not accept attachments. Please do not include client records, financial records or other sensitive information in the message boxes.
When you use the website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and technical details of your request (such as browser type and the page requested) to deliver and protect the site. To stop spam and repeat submissions, the form service creates a scrambled identifier from your IP address or email and holds it for up to 10 minutes. It is not saved with your enquiry.
My Cadence, the deadline tracker, stores your answers only in your own browser. They are not sent to us.
How we use your details, and why
- To reply to your enquiry, understand the work you describe and, if you asked for one, prepare and discuss a proposal.
- To keep a record of our correspondence and follow up on the enquiry you made.
- To keep the website and forms secure and free of spam.
For visitors in the UK and the European Union, including Malta, we rely on our legitimate interests in answering business enquiries and running a secure website. Where you ask for a proposal, we also process your details to take the steps you requested before any contract. For visitors in India, we process the details you give us voluntarily for the purpose you gave them. In every market we collect only what we need to answer you.
We do not sell your details, add you to a mailing list or use them for automated decisions about you. We do not send newsletters. If that changes, we will ask for your agreement first.
Who receives your details
- Vercel, which hosts this website and processes form submissions.
- Google, whose Apps Script and Google Sheets services receive and store form submissions. Access to that sheet is restricted to the people at Cadence who handle enquiries. Your browser also contacts Google to load the fonts this website uses, which gives Google your IP address and browser details.
- Our customer relationship management (CRM) system provider, where we record enquiries and follow-ups.
- The Cadence team members who handle your enquiry.
We may also disclose details where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims. We do not otherwise share your details with third parties.
Where your details are handled
Cadence is based in India, so our team reads and handles enquiries in India. Our service providers may process your details in other countries, including the United States. Where the law of your country requires safeguards for international transfers, we rely on the data protection terms our providers offer for those transfers. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.
How long we keep your details
- Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: deleted or anonymised within 24 months of our last contact with you, or sooner if you ask and we have no reason to keep them.
- If you become a client: we keep your details for the length of the engagement and afterwards for as long as our written terms and legal obligations require.
- Spam-protection identifier: up to 10 minutes.
- Hosting records: kept by Vercel for a limited period under its own service settings.
Cookies and browser storage
This website sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It uses the following only to show you the right market version and to run My Cadence.

When you open our homepage without having chosen a market, our host uses the country linked to your IP address to show the UK, Indian, Maltese or Australian version. We do not store that country. Earlier versions of this website saved the market automatically; that saved preference is cleared the next time you visit, unless you choose a market again.
How we protect your details
Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection. The link between this website and our Google Sheet is protected by a shared secret held only on the server, and access to the sheet and our CRM is limited to the people who handle enquiries. No online system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through the forms.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what details we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct details that are wrong or incomplete;
- delete your details;
- stop or limit how we use them, or object to our use of them;
- give you your details in a portable format.
To make a request, email privacy@cadenceaccountants.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we act. We aim to respond within one month, and within any shorter period the law of your country sets.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You can also complain to your data protection regulator:
- United Kingdom: the Information Commissioner's Office.
- Malta: the Information and Data Protection Commissioner.
- Australia: the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, where the Australian Privacy Act applies.
- India: the Data Protection Board of India, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as its provisions come into force.
Children
This website is for businesses and professionals. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect children's details.
